The inspiration behind L’Or Noir Café comes from the heart of the mountains of Petit-Goâve, where rich soil and an ideal climate give birth to exceptional coffee.
One morning, while traveling through the peaceful mountains of Haiti, I discovered something that changed the way I looked at coffee forever. The air was fresh, the soil was rich, and the hills were covered with small family farms where local people carefully grew pure organic coffee by hand.
As I walked through the mountains, I watched farmers wake up before sunrise to care for their coffee trees with pride and dedication. There were no large machines, no chemicals, and no shortcuts — only natural methods passed down from generation to generation. The smell of freshly picked coffee beans mixed with the cool mountain breeze created a feeling I could never forget.

While sitting with one of the farmers and drinking a warm cup of freshly brewed Haitian coffee, an idea suddenly came to my mind. I realized that the world needed to experience this authentic taste and the powerful story behind it. At that moment, I decided I wanted to build a coffee business that would not only serve high-quality organic coffee, but also support the hardworking people in the mountains of Haiti.

My vision became bigger than coffee itself. I wanted every cup to represent culture, purity, tradition, and hope. From that day forward, my dream was born: to bring the natural richness of Haitian mountain coffee to people everywhere while honoring the farmers whose passion inspired me.

We chose this name as a tribute to the true value of coffee in our culture: a precious treasure, a “black gold” cultivated with passion and artisanally roasted. L’Or Noir Café is the promise of absolute quality and a unique experience, because we firmly believe that in every drop lies a
